We use low-impact building materials, and source sustainable options for installation. Beyond bricks and mortar, we're in the business of transforming a process that can often be complicated into one that  is streamlined and well-managed.

Put your mind at ease. For larger projects, we are asbestos abatement certified in an effort to prevent our clients from experiencing further delays during restoration.

Stavros Evangelou

President

Stavros comes from a long line of builders, engineers, and architects so you could say his passion for construction runs in his blood. He is certified as a LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Associate and as a Geothermal System Installer with the Canadian GeoExchange Coalition. Earlier in his career, Stavros combined his love of building with his eye for design as an art director for major studio film productions.

Matthew Faulkner

Project Manager

Matthew has worked renovation sites since his first summer jobs where he learned the values of precision from seasoned professionals. He honed his project management and design skills during 10 years of set design in the film industry, before going on to obtain his Real Estate Broker’s license. Several property development companies benefited from his knowledge of the market and his sense of aesthetics before joining Redstone Group.

We engaged Redstone to perform an extensive renovation of our home we had just purchased in Westmount. The scope of renovation included an entirely new kitchen, new bathrooms, structural work, electrical work, and new flooring, among other things. As with any project of this nature there were challenges, but the communication and alignment to solve the problems were always based on trust and the project's best interests. For my project, I chose a contractor that charged for service/labour by the hour plus a 15% fee for labour, sub trades and materials. As far as I can tell this contractor estimated the overall cost to be low, as a way to win the contract. They did not read or consider the details of what was specified in the drawings. A big mistake of ours was to take this kind of estimate at face value. During the bidding process I also received a carefully prepared, fixed bid from Redstone. The details found in my architectural drawings had been considered and costed. I rejected the bid, thinking the overall cost was too high. I now realize I was not comparing apples to apples.
